2 Questions You Must Answer

If you’ve been around me for a hot second, you’ve surely heard me say – YOUR WHOLE STORY MATTERS!

Hagar is one my favorite women in human history. Her story is rarely told, like many marginalized people, but her life altered the trajectory of human history.

At the most vulnerable moment of Hagar’s life, God met her in the wilderness and asked her two life-changing questions. If you want to live and lead with your whole self – not fragmented, compartmentalized, disconnected, disembodied, or unaware, you must answer these two questions (repeatedly!) because your whole story matters.

Last weekend I got to teach on Hagar’s (un)seen story to a beautiful diverse and inclusive community. Fun fact: that morning I woke up and couldn’t stop coughing. I couldn’t get a sentence out without a coughing rage. But I stepped on stage and not a tickle or cough impacted my words. 🙌🏾

Take a 20-minute walk (even less on 1.2 speed 😉) and see how God may want to speak to your soul today. Listen below.

I’m asking God to see you right now exactly where you are and precisely how you need to feel seen. You’re never alone and you are loved.
