We have been assessing high-capacity leaders since 2020.
Over five hundred of them have now completed a version of our Lead Whole Assessment. And what the data keeps saying is something I cannot stop thinking about as we head into the final stretch of this year.
Here’s the first finding:
48% of leaders score lowest in the Physical dimension.
Nearly half. Not emotional health. Not mental clarity. Not their relationships or their sense of purpose.
Their body. The foundation everything else runs on.
What makes that finding sting a little for me is that the highest-scoring statements in our data are things like “my life and leadership are connected to something bigger than me” (9.0 out of 10) and “my integrity is aligned in the work I do” (8.9).
Purpose is high. Maintenance is low.
The leaders we assess are not checked out. They are not apathetic. They are deeply convicted, deeply committed, and running on empty doing it.
Meaning is not the problem. Fuel is.
There is more where this came from. Five findings in total, but the second one is the one that tends to land the hardest.
If you want the full picture, it lives inside the Lead Whole Assessment companion report. You get it when you take the assessment.
But this month, I am going to bring the findings here, one at a time, because Q4 is not the season to stay in the dark about what is actually holding you back.
More next Tuesday.

P.S. The final 2026 Awareness to Action Retreat is November 9-10 in Orange County. Less than 10 leaders. You leave with your 12-month Bold A.C.T.I.O.N. Plan in hand. If something in you just said “that’s me,” trust it. Learn more and apply → ezerandco.com/retreats
