Did you know that I married my high school sweetheart? ❤️
I don’t know who let us get married at 22, but by some wild mix of grace and growth… here we are, celebrating 24 years.
Brian is the best man I’ve ever known—and still my favorite person on the planet.
I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to lead—and to love—with your whole self.
One thing I know for sure: I would not be the woman, leader, or coach I am today without him. Brian is my best friend. My fiercest supporter. He calls me on my BS, never tells me I can’t do something, and always encourages me to invest in myself.
He anchors me—and helps me fly. He grounds me and propels me forward.
We definitely don’t have a perfect marriage, but it’s profoundly deep and passionate. We’ve helped each other heal. We’re committed to helping each other become the fullest version of ourselves. And we’re living proof that “power over” isn’t the way forward.
Real leadership—real love—is “power with” not “power over”.
Mutual partnership isn’t soft. It’s strong and sacred. It’s equally submissive. It’s boundaried and capacity building. It’s the invisible thread that weaves wholeness into every part of your life.
So today, I’m celebrating that kind of love and leadership. The kind rooted in mutuality, honesty, and full investment—in each other and in yourself. I believe it’s what God intended for every marriage, team, community, and system.
If you’re craving that kind of partnership in your own leadership or life, I see you.
