Thanksgiving is next week. (Wild, right!?)
You’re juggling deadlines, logistics, emotions, and everyone wants something from you.
When life and leadership is pulling you apart, what keeps you grounded?
Your why.

This year I’ve been coaching, Ta’Mella, an executive leader who grew up with lack. She didn’t get what she needed from others. But she made a powerful decision: that absence wouldn’t define her.
Her deepest why?
“I will be for others what I didn’t have for myself.”
Owning your why isn’t a one-time moment—it’s a daily practice. Especially when you’re leading people waiting for someone to believe in them.
She asked herself one simple but life-changing question:
Who do I need to become so my people can become their best?
Her answer changed everything:
“I get to be for others what I didn’t have—from a whole place.”
Your why isn’t what you do or how you do it—it’s the force that fuels both. It’s what sustains you under pressure.
If you want to dig into your own why, complete this statement:
👉 “I so that .”
That’s your compass when everything feels like chaos. Your litmus test for why you do what you do, how you do it, and what you do.
I’d LOVE to hear your why. Hit reply and share it with me.
