My Word for 2026 is…

My word of the year is Generative.

If you’re new around here, I’m coming out of three of the most difficult years of my life (thanks to highly elevated mold toxicity). This word speaks to being alive, in motion, and embodying expansion in every part of my life and leadership—without hustle, hurry, or an ounce of desperation.

Being generative is about exponential growth and movement. Catch that? Being. Not doing. Whatever I do will be a result of who I’ve become.

Over a year ago a mentor told me that he saw me like an arrow, being pulled back with tension. These last three years have positioned me to be released into more of my calling and mission: to help you in your own holistic leadership journey.

Here’s what neuroscience teaches us about this January: your brain is primed for new beginnings right now. The anterior cingulate cortex—your brain’s “gear shifter”—is most receptive to change when you anchor it to meaning and reflection, not just resolution.

Before you run off into the year, integrate last year first.

It’s not too late to do the 2025 Year-in-Review. It’ll help you reflect, recalibrate, and rise into this year with alignment and purpose.
