One honest look before fall

This is the last week of summer that still officially feels like summer. (I’m not happy about it because fall is my fourth favorite season.)

After this, the backpacks and the fourth-quarter push take over, and the last real window to check in with yourself closes.

So before everyone needs you again, I’m going to implore you to take action.

I posted this Instagram reel recently about the problem with “I’m fine”… →. If you’ve told someone “I’m fine” this week, watch this now.

The issue I have with usual markers of success is they’ll NEVER tell you how you’re actually doing. The revenue. The title. The packed calendar. You can hit every one of them and still be running on empty underneath.

Your whole self is the asset. Not your output. You.

The Whole Leader Check-in is two minutes and six honest questions about the parts of you the metrics never measure.

Do it today, before the season turns.

You will spend all fall getting everyone else in order. This one is for you.

PS. ‘I’m fine’ is the most expensive lie leaders tell. Two minutes of honesty costs way less. 🧡
