Shift into Summer

Hey,

My kids have been on summer break for 3 weeks already. ☀️ Every summer feels like I learning how to “do” summer all over again, especially as my three kids grow and my leadership responsibilities change.

We’re all changing. I guess that’s the point.

Which begs the question, how do you shift with the season and lead holistically?  The summer shift is the perfect time to adjust your mindset and rhythms.

Here are 3 simple shifts working for me. I hope they help you, too.

  1. Shift your expectations. Work will look differently with kids at home, longer days, co-workers on vacation, and a different work pace. If you don’t shift your expectations, you’ll be drained and frustrated all summer.
  2. Shift your energy. Our Energy Expanders Guide is a quick, powerful tool to identify what fuels (or drains) you these days. If you don’t shift your energy, you’ll miss the current people, practices, or activities that expand or exhaust your energy.
  3. SHIFT YOUR FOCUS. You don’t need to hustle harder—you need to lead from who you are. Paying closer attention to your self-leadership will optimize your output. If you don’t shift your focus, you’ll treat this season like the first 5 months of the year.

These are tiny trajectory shifts that could make or break your summer. Ask me how I know. 😉

If you want a practical tool, our Renewal Mini-Assessment can help you identify other shifts you may want to make this summer.

And if you want to do that work more intentionally…

The Awareness to Action Retreat deadline is July 9th. You’ll get two days to reset, expand your mindset, connect with other badass female leaders, and walk away with a 12-month Bold A.C.T.I.O.N. Plan. Apply here today.

Don’t let the summer slip by. Let it shift you.
